Matanuska comes from the Alaskan valleys and is known for its resin yield and large buds even in less favorable climates; now available in bulk. It can flower perfectly in places with difficult climate situations which is why it’s considered extremely easy to grow, as it doesn’t need much to give amazing results. It has a strong, robust structure and a beautiful dark green color.
Indoors it needs at least 20 days of growth before it can be flipped to flower. We recommend placing up to 9 plants per square meter, and it’s also highly recommended to top these plants a week before flowering them so that they grow out nice and round, filling out all available space. After just 63-70 flowering days you’ll be rewarded with thick, rock hard buds – you can expect around 550-600g per 600W light if done correctly.
Outdoors it’s quite impressive to watch this strain work, as it grows out wide and begins taking over everything it can. They grow to about 2m tall with plenty of side branches covered in buds. If you train it with Plastic Stakes you’ll increase its maximum yield, as the branches won’t have to put extra energy into getting thicker. Matanuska should be ready towards the first half of October.
